OMG Why is Pet Insurance important?
Pet Insurance Simplified:
Whether you're a first time pet owner or well versed with paying pet bills, they'e are often overlooked and under budgeted. Especially when dog's have to go to a speciality doctor.
I've found Healthy Paws to be extremely helpful. My dog suddenly had to get dental surgery on her mouth and had I not had her Healthy Paws policy I wouldn't have gotten the bill reimbursed. That being said there are several pet insurance companies out there aside from Healthy Paws. If you get your dog as a puppy and immediately get the puppy insurance, the premium will remain low because you 'paid into those funds' when you're puppy was young and healthy. The premium might increase yearly but no drastic increase should occur unless something happens to your dog and in that case it may be best to qualify elsewhere. I also studied Life Insurance so feel free to email me with any questions and I'll try to help when I can.
However, if you get a dog with pre-existing conditions and no knowledge of those conditions, chances are that pet owner is going to be unbelievably stressed out. I'm trying to help you avoid those headaches. I was reimbursed 70% of a $1,000+ veterinarian bill and don't know what I would've done if it weren't for Healthy Paws!
