How do I recycle in Los Angeles County?:

I have a passion for trash and taking care of our earth, here are a couple steps that should help us work together to take care of Mother Nature. She thanks you in advance! This should be a good general rule of thumb for any city resident with three garbage bins or has the option to compost.

Recycling

If it's a 1, 2, or 5 it goes into... The recycling! If it has oil or grease in it or stuck on it put it in the trash, and if you can clean it out, rinse out the oil, and put it in the recycling bin. Otherwise, trash it. Items with too much grease or oil cannot be recycled.

Compost

If it's a kleenex, napkin, or, paper plate, toss it in the compost bin.

Trash

Everything else goes here. Hope this helps!
